Parent Connect
As a parent, you probably are already aware of the "Parent Connect" program at Lake Travis High School. I recommend that the you give me the user name and password for your student so I can monitor the test and homework scores. For many students, I tutor in math and science. By being able to look at the test and homework scores, I can tell which subject is causing the most problems, and can re-teach those areas.
Before every tutoring session, I check the parent connect site and the teacher's web sites to see what upcoming assignments and tests are scheduled. Knowing this information is especially important when the student is a bit unmotivated and unconcerned about his past scores and upcoming assignments and tests.
My checking Parent Connect is totally optional. If you don't feel comfortable giving me this information, it is OK.
It is my policy to never divulge any information about the student or their parents to anyone without their permission.
